Vendor Setup Hours

All Shipshewana On The Road shows are two days.  Vendors are required to participate in each day of the show.

Vendor Parking: All vendors must park in designated areas or at the furthest point from the facility. 

It is extremely important that the parking near the facility is saved for customers.  You will be required to provide vehicle information upon check in and if you are parked close to the facility you may receive a fine of 50% of your booth rent.  If you receive a fine, it must be paid prior to further participation and/or your vehicle may be towed (with or without notice) at your expense.

Vendor Check-in/Set-up for Saturday and Sunday show (majority of shows are Saturday/Sunday shows):

• Check-in/Set-up is the Friday prior to the show from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM.
• When you arrive at the facility you will need to locate the Show Office (follow the signs and/or ask another vendor for the location) and check-in.  Upon checking in you will receive your booth assignment and directions to your assigned location.
• It is possible that the facility will allow us to begin set-up as early as 9:00 AM although it is guaranteed to begin by 10:00 AM.  Set-up will also conclude promptly at 6:00 PM and all vendor will exit the facility at that time.

Vendor Check-in/Set-up for Friday and Saturday show:

• Check-in/Set-up is Thursday from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM or Friday from 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
• When you arrive at the facility you will need to locate the Show Office (follow the signs and/or ask another vendor for the location) and check-in.  Upon checking in you will receive your booth assignment and directions to your assigned location.

Friday Show Hours (Friday and Saturday show only):

• Friday Show Hours are from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM.  Vendor setup is listed above for a Friday and Saturday show.  Note that most shows are held Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday Show Hours:

• Saturday Show Hours are from 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM.  The facility will be open for vendor arrival by 8:00 AM although it could be open earlier.  Vendors are requested to close their booth and depart between 6:00 PM and 6:30 PM Saturday night.

Sunday Show Hours:

• Sunday Show Hours are from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM.  The facility will be open for vendor arrival by 9:00 AM although it could be open earlier.  We also offer a non-denominational church service for anyone that would like to attend at 9:00 AM.  The location of this service will be announced at the show.

Additionally, a vendor must not begin breaking down their booth prior to the conclusion of the show at 5:00 PM.  If they do the vendor will not be able to participate in future shows promoted by JDL Corporation and they will be charged 50% of their booth rent.

Load Out:

• Load out occurs immediately following the conclusion of the show.  A Saturday and Sunday show will load out on Sunday between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM.  A Friday and Saturday show will load out on Saturday between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM.  Only after the show concludes, if you pack up your booth, move any product out of your booth and/or bring any items into your booth to aid in packing, etc. prior to the end of the show you will be charged 50% of your booth rental.

Additional Show Info.:  If you are a vendor that is thinking about setting up on Saturday please note that if your booth set-up does not take less than 30 minutes you are required to set-up on Friday.  Also notice must be provided to JDL Corporation no later than one week prior to the show.  If it is not provided and you plan on a Saturday set-up your booth may be full when you arrive.  Meaning it is possible that it will be resold, you will not be allowed to set-up and you will not receive a refund.

Moreover, no matter how long the set-up takes, if you are planning on setting up on Saturday then you must check in to the show office no later than 8:10 AM (NO EXCEPTIONS) or you will not be allowed to set-up and no refund will be provided.  We guarantee that we will be at the facility by 8:00 AM although we normally arrive around 7:30 AM.  It is recommended that vendors wishing to set-up their booth on Saturday arrive just prior to our arrival so they can check in and proceed to set-up.
